Raw Materials for Steel Production
Złomrex Group is the raw materials division of Cognor Group, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main. We purchase ferrous scrap (HMS 1/2, shredded, P&S), non-ferrous grades (#1 copper, 6063 extrusion, brass), and high-alloy streams — then sort, shear, bale, and deliver charge material to Cognor mills and external steelworks. Zonal offices in Hollywood, Florida and Poraj, Poland handle Americas and Central European trade.
12+ branches and 12+ collection sites across Germany, the USA, and Poland — each with weighbridge intake, yard processing, and container service. Frankfurt coordinates trade and mill supply; Hollywood and Poraj handle regional commercial and logistics for the Americas and Central Europe.

Scrap Collection

Yard sorting, hydraulic shearing, baling, and shredder feed preparation. Material graded to ISRI and EU specifications before dispatch to EAF melt shops.

Mill & Foundry Supply

Non-Ferrous Trading
Purchase and resale of #1 copper, birch/cliff, UBC, 6063 extrusion, brass solids, and post-shredder concentrates (zorba/zurik) — sorted and packed for smelter requirements.
Commercial Support
Trade desks in Frankfurt (HQ), Hollywood, FL, and Poraj for grading enquiries, weighbridge tickets, waste transfer notes, and recurring supply contracts.
